Prologue

Loera is a mortal, an indentured servant to Madam Luestro of the Dragonskeep Brothel, place of exotic Fae escorts and dancers. Although she is a jack of all trades when it comes to the shadow work to be done at the brothel, Loera is a talented ring dancer. With this expert ability that showcases both strength and balance, Loera catches the eye of two men who request her for private entertainment. It is behind closed doors that these men whisper of cryptic codenames and mysterious messages while Loera can't help but listen. With a war brewing between the mortal king of Oden and the Fae Lands, Loera is thrown in the middle of it after an attack on the brothel in the name of Loyalists.
