"I'm in love with you," she whispers, her voice breaking. Jennie's face softens completely. "So much that I think it might kill me, except I don't even like you right now. I don't even know who you really are. I don't even think you do." She shrugs. "I would love to be with you but I can't, Jennie, I can't. I can be your friend, but I really think you need to figure out who you are and what you want before anything else can happen." Jennie's face falls and tears stream down her cheeks.
