Alina, an orphan, is a talented dancer who doesn't realise her true potential until Aleksander Morozova, famous dancer and head of the Royal Ravkan Ballet School, sees her audition variation through the window. "Who is that girl?" he demanded. "Number one?" Baghra had already guessed. "Alina Starkov, age 17. She's trained by some tiny dance school none of us have ever heard of in....Keramzin." Based off the Shadow and Bone trilogy by Leigh Bardugo and the netflix series!! (I don't own any rights to the characteres). Cross posting from ao3 (username on ao3 is hiitsalice if you want to follow :D) Eventual romance but I want to explore their relationship platonically first n I don't want to make the Darkling creepy - in the AU he isn't as evil or manipulative as he is in the series.
