Description
Emma Lim's life was a roller coaster to say the very least. She knew that she was different from her friends. Emma didn't look like her mother, nor did she look like most of her friends from school. She just didn't seem to fit in anywhere. Emma knew that her father wasn't aware of her existence as he left her and her mother before she was even born. She couldn't relate to the concept of family, much less her own culture, which her mother made sure she retained despite living in the States. The shock Emma went through when her mother passed away was unbearable.
