I believe that everything happens for a reason, but when my adoptive mother died of cancer, that phrase became very hard to believe...

That is, until through reflection I learned a lot and discovered that there was actually a lot that her love taught me.

My eyes were opened. She didn't just die. She saved me. She saved me from going through the same pain and suffering that she had been through.

This is a book about the lessons love taught me.
