Murderers and Money

When Hugh Ransom Drysdale gets out of jail for the attempted murders of Harlan Thrombey and Marta Cabrera, the murder of Fran-the help, and an arson charge, he's forced to get a job and support himself, working at a small bookstore, a petite writer as his boss and the business owner, he thinks he can easily manipulate her into raises, praises and money, maybe even passing the business over to him. But will her motives to turn around his sociopathic, murderous ways and create a story out of it defeat his motives to make her fall in love with him? Will they both lose the game? Will he be rid of his sociopathic, murderous ways?
