Everybody knows Jake West is always a second choice for Annabelle Chantarat, but when Year 11 starts and new girl Alice Hang enters the picture, Jake gets an epiphany, and suddenly, he's not second best anymore.
Honestly, Jake doesn't think much about his (apparently) not so subtle meet-ups with Alice at the library, or their (not so) secret after school get-togethers. In fact, Jake just doesn't think at all because he'd rather do it, or her (whatever's convenience for him in the moment of course).
But now, after they don't see eye to eye anymore (and that's not figuratively, mind you) he just can't stop thinking about her.
