It's been 5 years since a unique bond was formed between neighbours Juli Baker and Bryce Loski through the planting of a single sycamore tree.

They're not 8th graders anymore.

Bryce and Juli have left for college, promising to write each other weekly. But what happens when Juli is forced to drop out, and Bryce's letters stop suddenly? Hopefully Bryce's arrival home for the end of the college year will hold some answers. Hopefully.
