The lives of most people change with their dreams, but for us, it was our nightmares. The night had always harbored horrors for us, but perhaps it was our nightmares that bound us. Perhaps it was because we faced similar horrors that we trusted each other with our greatest possessions. It was just our nightmares we shared, otherwise we were very different. One the coldest fire while the other the warmest ice. Yet, we were drawn to the same thing, like a moth is drawn to the flame. Perhaps we were destined to burn, there was no way around it. What we wanted and what we needed were like the sun and stars. We couldn't have both. So, we did what anyone would do! We made the choice, but undisclosed to each other. My only desire was that if we were to burn which we were sure of, was to burn beside each other. Because it all starts with one nightmare, just a single nightmare...
