Prologue

The Fulton Mansion State Historic Site is situated in Fulton on the Texas Gulf Coast, in the area of Aransas, in the U.S. province of Texas. It is one of the earliest Second Empire style structures developed in Texas and is quite possibly the most significant of the style in the Southwest United States still in existence.
