Life without dying was something most people could only dream of. To never worry about death must seem like a gift. However for Roark it was everything he never wanted. He wanted nothing more than to die.

Living in a world where anyone different is considered abnormal and horrific, he feels as if hes been burdened by life. People hate abnormals because they scare them. Because theyre different. Thats why Roark is sent away to be locked up. In a house full of people thrown away. A house that could very well turn out to be his biggest horror yet or his first sanctuary.
