Rebecca Gallagher is the middle child of the Gallagher clan. She is a teenager living in the Southside of Chicago, trying to stop the fate of turning into her parents. Her miserable father is a selfish alcoholic and her runaway mother is mentally ill. Thanks to her oldest sister Fiona, all six kids have someone looking after them. They just might have a chance.
