Six was still standing, just barely. Her helmet had malfunctioned, soon to be followed by her battered, worn red-and-steel armor. She knew she wouldn't last long; not with so many Covenant troops groundside; not with her failing shield systems. She stood, exhausted; wounded; but never broken, like every UNSC trooper should.
