On the day of the Ener-D reactor explosion, two babies were sent from Domino City to the Satellite. One of those babies is named Shun Truesdale, one of the many orphans who had to grow up on the streets of the Satellite alongside his friends Yusei, Jack, and Crow. One day, Jack decided to steal Yusei's best monsters and his new duel runner. He went to New Domino City and became a dueling champion. That betrayal set a course of events that will not just affect Yusei, Jack, or Shun, but all of New Domino City and the Satellite.
