Katerina Vasiliev has been more-or-less on her own since the death of her mother. Always envying the Enhanced for their otherworldly abilities, she can hardly believe it when she discovers that her father is an Enhanced, meaning she potentially had inherited the gene without knowing. But being Heir Apparent to Dark Genesis, the leader of the league of supervillains, has its own baggage and Kat will be forced to make a decision. Bring down the High Council as her father wants or turn her back against The Faction for the boy who stole her heart? No matter what she decides, forces will always be trying to stop her, and in some cases, even kill her. The right decision will make powerful allies, the wrong decision will make powerful enemies.
