Prologue:

the world becomes a permanent winter and people disperse themselves into clans each clan with their own leader. Amara has gone on thinking that her mother was dead after being taken 5 years ago. She spent these years by her fathers side, learning everything she needed, training to be the best she could to be the next leader of her clan when the time came but when a rival clan comes to make a deal and the leader of said clan sees her, things change. She soon learns the truth behind her mothers disappearance and those that she had thought she could trust, may just be the villains of her story and the ones that she thought she couldn't, the heroes...and maybe even love will be found.
