The Beginning

17 year old Jennifer has a rough life. Her mother Jamie died at 33 from suicide 2 years ago. Her father Robert fell apart and started to become shallow and abusive towards Jen both verbally and physically. Jennifer is doing all she can to keep it together for both there sake and is doing all she can to keep her father from doing something stupid. She is a senior in high school and has a part time job down the street at a small shop. She knows past all the hateful words and the hurtful bruises, their is a loving man. Robert decides to take Jen out to dinner the day before she started school but something unexpected happens. Her life is about to change before her very eyes for the better or for worse.
