Why Me?

"Fight me back, you little brat," he spits.
And for the first time in her life, she feels lost, intimated, scared. She sure has felt scared before but not like this, she knows very well, she'll never win against him. She inhales, maybe she just should tell him the truth, maybe then she can escape this. But the truth? The same truth she's been hiding, for so long. And just for the fear, she does something she never imagined, she screams.
