They had finally made it, they had finally crossed the finish line of this so called killing game they had been stuck in for what felt like eternity. They had all managed to escape its clutches, after several sacrifices and heartbreaks. They figured it all out, and thankfully the ones lost were returned to them unscaved. Finally, they could all go back to their original lives...

But life took an unexpected turn once again for them all, especially Kokichi. Hopes Peak Academy had officially been reopened, and upon request to join this prostegious school for the talented, they had all been dragged into the depths of Hopes Peak once more.

Though, the purple haired gremlin had changed. Drastically at that. His once cheery and prankish nature had been layered with a new bored and emotionless personality. His dull eyes and expression led people to avoid him, including the ones in his class.

What was the reason for his change? Did something happen? If so then what? These were the thoughts that ran through the detectives thoughts. And he was determined to find them out.
