((The art featured in the cover is my own)) All the warnings given about being wary of subjecting himself to the internet as a child were finally starting to catch up with Dream. Now, after some incredible highs, he could barely count himself prepared. Struggling with overwhelming media backlash and gradually worsening mental health, Dream is stuck in an emotional limbo. But when he finds himself isolated in hopes of protecting himself, he can't help but long for one person, and all it takes is one song to bring all of his walls crashing down. This is my first (published) fanfiction, so like many DNF writers I have chosen to base it off a song. Anyways, look out because there's probably going to be a ton of trigger warnings because the way I write Dream is a bit of a self insert.
