The setting is in the same world as Equestria but the characters will be in a more technologically advanced world (with phones, laptops, cars, etc.). This happens a during and after King Sombras banishment from the Crystal Empire. Y/n ran from her higher ranking abusive family as a filly & was taken in by princess Celetsia for her unique magic ability and unique cutie mark.She was like twilight to the Princess. And after Twillight gets her cutie mar Celestia introduces the two and they become fast friends with Y/n being like Spike to Twiilight. And when Twilight is sent to Ponyville with Twilight and there they met the Mane 6. She and some of the other Mane 6 are agere. One day y/n and the Mane 6 are on a trip to the Crystal Empire. But when and y/n meets King Sombra they feel a special connection with him. Soon after his defeat, they feel something pulling them to leave the Empire and go into a cave a couple of miles away. But is it an ordinary cave as they originally thought? Read to find out. I will be using She/they pronouns for y/n and they're also bi so if you don't support the LGBT+ community leave.
