Preface/Explanation

The Gladiolus is a type of flower that represents strength and integrity. By giving a gladiolus to someone, the giver sends the message "you pierce my heart" to the receiver. These flowers also represent remembrance.

Looking back at it now, things weren't so bad. I mean, weighing the goods and the bads, I didn't lose much. But I did lose, meant more than what it appeared, and I'll never be able to replace it. I never have been able to, have I?
