Elves in Demon Slayer

Long ago Elves and humans lived together when one day an elf overheard a human talk ill of his race and in anger struck him in a brawl for over a minute the elf accidently, badly wounded him. The human then left and spread more rumors about elves, which angered them even more. And a once allied race soon turn into enemies cause of lies and misunderstandings that made the Elves Turn their backs on humans[not leaving them defenseless] when the demons soon appeared
