The moon was beautiful that night, with its glittering shine and the many stars surrounding it. It sat high up, a god in its rightful throne, always there and never humble in its stance. George sat by his window, entranced.

The brunette thought he was used to it. The cold shoulder, the messages left on read, even the blatant scorn. He thought he was used to it all; but as he hacked up red carnations, he realized he wasn't used to anything.
