Will she ever be able to overcome the demons that haunt her or will their love go up in flames? ************* Paul woke me up in the early morning so we could make our way from the plane to an SUV waiting at the airport to transport us back to our hometown. My plan was not to phone Lilly until we made it to the house, but I couldn't wait. I tried calling her, but it rang a few times before going to voicemail. I figured she was sleeping soundly, so I would wait a few minutes before trying again. I was growing eager when I was a mere few minutes away from home until I noticed Paul on the phone as well. At first, I figured he was probably calling Allison to let her know we would be arriving soon, but his face seemed far too troubled. He hung up suddenly, overcome with an anxious sense of urgency. "Marshall! Your house is on fire!" I couldn't comprehend what Paul was trying to tell me but became smacked with the harsh reality soon enough as a swarm of red flashing lights surrounded my home. It was surreal as we drove only halfway up my drive being cut off by yellow security tape. I tried to phone Lilly once more to no avail. I jumped from the van before it even parked properly to race up the remainder of my driveway. "Lilly! L-i-l-l-y!!"
