A/N - Before You Read

"Who I am?" The corners of his lips twitched. "It'd be better to ask what I am."

"And . . . what are you?" the girl asked, carefully positioning herself at the bed's edge. The guy huffed and lowered his head. His curled hair dangled before his face.

"A monster. Something that shouldn't exist," he said tonelessly. "No matter where or who, I always end up hurting the people around me. I'm better off dead and unnoticed. Forget me. I don't want to attend to your funeral, regretting that I haven't warned you." The girl wanted to ask him one more question, but within a blink, he was gone.
