The car accident Cassidy Taylor and her mother got into resulted to Cassidy's voice being taken away and losing her mother's leg.

Two years later Cassidy and her family move to Washington which meant for Cassidy to go to a new school, leave her only friend and meet new people.

Then there's Blake Crawford, the school's bad boy. When they bumped into each other during the end of their 2nd period, he says, "Be careful next time princess" And walks away. Cassidy knew she would see him more often.
