(Un)Necessary Tension

Alexis Mayes is a "bad girl": self described, teacher confirmed. But when she pushes too far, the school has no choice but to expel her. However, well meaning counselor ms. Werner steps in with an unlikely solution; Alexis is forced to write to annoyingly bubbly pen pal Haylee, or face expulsion. Alexis could not be more pissed. But, through letters and mixtapes, Alexis grows to like Haylee's contradictory personality, and begins to wish that their innocent friendship was a bit more... friendly.
