Running away seemed like a good idea at the time.

It could be an escape from the suffering that she was enduring. She could be alone with just her secret. Lena Caldwell didn't know what to do when she turned 13 so she did the only thing she could think of.

She ran.

And ran until she couldn't any more.

Now she has to face what happened and figure out what to do instead of running from her problem.
