Sensitive but smart, Olivia Clifton moves from leafy Surrey to the noisier suburbs of north west London with her older sister Sophia and parents when her father changes jobs. She is faced with a new type of school, new girls, new boys and although wary is determined to integrate into school life. Should she follow the usual school protocol or be herself?

Despite her fears of fitting in, Olivia lets down her guard and embraces all the change and adventure that her new school offers. Swept along in the new high school experience, she makes friends, attends parties and experiments with love but when a dark problem keeps surfacing will she use her gifts just for herself or for the betterment of others?
