Description
The passing of the leader of the secluded community she grew up in brings 25 year old Alaine Shepherd back to her roots. To a past she would rather forget, to traditions she ran from ages back. Even though she was against the community's regulations and norms because to her they were "backward thinking" the dying wish of the only mother figure she has ever known warms her heart and drags her back. However there is more to this dying wish, as this community was more than it seemed, eluding secrets, sparks of love, steamy passion and creatures of the dark and all forms of unorthodox encounters awaited her.
