"I've found something worth feeling for." It's him. It has always been him. *** Dakota wants nothing more than to be numb. She's lost grip of all she has ever loved. At least that's how she has rationalized her dark spiral downward these past years. But when Dakota takes a chance with nothing left to loose, the last thing she expects is to be accepted into the pretentious school for the pretty, privileged, famous teens of Miami on a private island. She's worlds away from the student body. At first she's judgmental and undeniably fake with the swarm of teens that feel far to much for her own liking. It's not until she spends a few weeks in their presence, do the seven other teens with their own crazy hormones and emotions slowly entangle into her heart, especially a certain someone that seems to know just how to get her to redefine all she knows about love. Turns out the last thing Dakota will get this year is to be numb, especially when she ends up being just down the hall to someone who is just bound to make her feel everything and more. This senior year is inevitably going to be messy, tempting , and full of reluctance.
