Description
[Book Four of the "Patrons' World" series. Part one of the Ankūro Trilogy.] Life in Kaima village was always slow and difficult. Rice would be planted, the rains come, then the harvest, then the bandit raids. For Ka house owner Ajo, his daughter Tiima and village Headwoman, Apē, the seasons passed in a never-ending, constant cycle. Nothing changed. Nothing happened. Until the arrival of a strange, old woman threatens to to bring everything crashing down. With lies, secrets and hidden passions revealed in the woman's wake, can the village survive? Or will Ajo, Tiima and Apē regret the day Ankūro came to Kaima? A fantasy story, set in "Patrons' World". Inspired by the samurai movies of Akira Kurosawa and written, in it's entirety, during NaNoWriMo, November 2020.
