~ Chapter 1 ~

Enjolras, while running from the barricade, ends up saving Javert's life and thus begins the start of an unlikely friendship as Javert focuses on redemption through saving a student on trial. Enjolras finds conflict within, as he cannot forgive Javert, while Javert finds conflict with where his loyalties lie.
