Prologue

Amber is 15 years old. So far she is talented in handling herself outdoors. She's developed a love for this forest, but her mother, Hanna, has warned her for many years to not go near that forest. At 15, Amber thinks she is all grown up and can take on anything. She is ready for the forest and won't let anything get in her way, not even her mother. About two days in, Amber feels regret and decides to go home. But which way is home? But wait, what is that? Who is that?
