The Kingdom of Bluemere is at war. It is one of many who are struggling to defend their borders from the powerful ice-nation in the north, Adderak. For hundreds of years, king after king have attempted to end Adderak's thurst, but to no avail. The territory is enormous, stretching across the great northeastern peninsula. It grows every day as it continues to take smaller neighboring territories. The new king, Alain Greylock, has made conquering all of Modea his personal plight. Queen Beadu Winterle has known this war her entire life. Her childhood was a blur, but for the past eight years, she's sat in her husband's shadow as he's sent thousands of soldiers to Adderak's border. Bluemere, Gladith and Lapi are the only kingdoms left on the northeastern side of Modea. They are the continent's only hope.
