Prologue

Almost a year after the collapse of a nation, Freya's long journey home in apocalyptic surroundings somehow grows more stressful thanks to the arrival of one certain, angry boy named Harry. Decidedly safer to travel together, the two begin south from middle England, Freya hoping to find her way home again, and Harry hoping to escape the British Isles entirely. Encountering a few undead is always top of their worries, but there are more surprises along the way than just that.
