In this alternate retelling of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Frank Castle did not survive the massacre that took his family's life, only this time, it occurred a year after the Battle of New York in a beach house.

But, what if a member of the Castle family, Frank's nephew, a United States Marine on leave, miraculously arose from the dead? To get his vengeance and punish those who slew his family, Jake Castle became the host to a Spirit of Vengeance and became the Ghost Rider.

What happens when his crusade catches the attention of the Avengers?
