Prologue: 48 Curzon Street

Set in the aftermath of "Chain of Iron," this story creates an alternate ending to "The Last Hours" series. James is under the impression that Cordelia and Matthew died because of a demon attack in Paris, but not all the evidence of Cordelia's death is conclusive--and that's enough to send him on a one-man mission to track her down and find out if she is still alive.

I literally hate this story and I wrote it years ago without even finishing it lmao but I hated "Chain of Thorns" slightly more so that's why this is on the internet
