The Kingdom of Eshonder was separated by magic.

There were Gifteds, gifted and skilled with magic, passed down through generations, then those who were Ungifted, serving the Gifteds. Roane, an orphan, lives with her younger brother as Ungifteds.

Trained as a street thief her whole life, Roane was an expert on never getting caught. Except.....once. She got caught on the biggest job she had taken on.

A twist of fate entangles Roane within Gifteds. Royalty, drama, and betrayal drags Roane into a deadly and vicious dance. With her head on the line, Roane fights to survive.
