Velvet parasol

Sometimes, I feel like my dreams are sending me messages about something, weather it would be about how to succeed in my current life, or just for the sole purpose of entertain my self while I am sleeping. For the longest time, dating as far back as age 4, I have had dreams about my self. Not my self right now , or well then. Dreams about my self from a different era, one of my earliest memories of my dream is when i was 4 years old. I was picking up small flowers from the meadow, when suddenly I hear what I assumed my mothers voice. She was calling me to come towards her. The woman , I assumed to be my mother, shouted "Irene, your father and I have been searching for you everywhere. Do you not know that its almost daylight?" I looked up to the sky to see the orange-purplish ray of light peaking out from the trees. "Come now, we must go in the carriage before the daylight fully rises." I didn't know the harm of being outside during the day, but for some reason. The woman I assumed was my mother, feared the daylight. I didn't know why at first but as the dreams go on, I soon found out the reason why.
