Hara and Plim have been questing together for years, adventuring beyond their homes and discovering the world as paid questers (they've also dethroned a few kings along the way). When they are asked by a witch of few words to take on a job, they think it will be simple: go into the forest, find the troll, take back what it stole. Only... revenge has a way of taking even the simplest job and turning it on its head. And when princes, heroes and old flames show up, the forest is the least of this trio's problems.
