Description
"Beware the mark-bearers." Those are the words drifting in the air of Denline City. What started out as rumors has become a real threat to its citizens; strange circumstances brought about by stranger people, some desperate to blend in with society -- and others who reject it outright. Whispers in the wind suggest that a ghost from the past is behind it all, from mass disappearances to an ever-rising body count. Yet the truth remains lost in darkness. And in order to find it -- answers, evidence, and a missing friend -- one of the cursed mark-bearers ventures forth. All he knows for sure is that the numbers infesting Denline City, invisible to all but those branded like him, are the key to it all.
