Iris and Sparrow have been thriving in the cottage for years, their relationship growing stronger with each passing month.
Everything was perfect until a group of men in an army vehicle plows into their front lawn. Both Iris and Sparrow are forced into the bus and shipped off to a military-based society camp.
Having been on their own for years, they find it difficult to adjust to the society of the camp. This includes sexuality and gender-based discrimination and stigma around mental illness.
Together they try to create a new path to happiness and traverse the more difficult parts of a relationship.
