"Alastor." I say not even looking behind me, I see sharp red hands grab the other shot glass next to me and pull it away "Y/N dear." He says a bit too low to my liking, if he tries testing me again I swear- "Calm down." I hear my shadow remind me, not even realizing I almost broke the glass in my hand "need something?" I ask a bit too rude as I down my shot quickly and set the glass next to me, there is a few moments of silence before I hear him down his shot and set the glass next to mine. I hear his small exhale, probably taking in the strong drink "I just wanted to compliment you on your performance. It was as impressive as your last ones." he says with a bit more enthusiasm like he always is around everyone, I swear he is the fakest cunt I know. "Thank you, I appreciate it." I respond a bit cold, not caring for his compliment. Its silent again but it wasn't the silence that kills you on the inside and it definitely wasn't the comfortable silence.
