Chapter One

Kate and Sam have been friends since forever even though they couldn't be more different. Its the summer after they graduated from high school, and they'll soon be going their separate ways. Kate is going away to college while Sam has a new crew of wild, interesting friends. Kate is busy working at her parent's diner, and trying to ignore the feelings she still has for her ex-boyfriend/co-worker. Kate is worried that she and Sam will drift apart, and Kate will lose the most important relationship in her life.

The question is what Kate is willing to do and give up to keep Sam in her life.
