Description
There is nothing special about Emma Brookshire, and she likes it that way. Secluded from the rest of the Wizarding world by her itinerant pureblood parents, Emma and her twin sister Aurelia have never had formal schooling. When the Brookshires decide to take a stationary assignment in England, Emma and Aurelia are enrolled at Hogwarts, at the age of sixteen. Separated for the first time in her life from Aurelia, Emma faces Hogwarts alone and wary, and placed in a house that she should not belong to.
