chapter 1:

there is no amount of therapy sessions that can make me forget. i can change but the trauma is burned into my brain like a brand, like it owns me. i'll never forget June 25, 2000 in budapest. i with my best friend natasha romanoff and my brother clint barton. we were new s.h.e.i.l.d agents, so new that this mission was our first and come to find out my last.
