Aya Catherine was given a a special ability at birth, the ability to tell when a person is going to pass away.

While many people say it's a blessing she feels like it's a curse that's binding her relationships with other people.

What was the reasoning of her having this ability? Why does it have to be the "ordinary human" Aya Catherine?
