I grasped my knife tightly and I felt adrenaline pumping in my veins. My injury would make it hard to run, and I was already sweating immensely from the unpapered situation. My hormones were screaming disparately with 'fight-or-flight' when I suddenly heard the click of a gun. A cold barrel was pressed hard to the back of my head. More so astonished than terrified, I sat in silence with my hand grasping my knife harder. 'Am I going to die?' was all I thought as I contemplated all the effort it took for me to get here... ------------------------- 'Domain of Angels' is a fantasy-based thriller that narrates the story of Mira Layte, a girl who begins to experience dream-like realities upon her slumber, where her only escape is through death. After countless occurrences, Mira takes it upon herself to figure out the reason for these mysterious occurrences and how to stop them. She begins to uncover life-changing discoveries throughout her investigation and meets many uncanny beings who will either help her, or be the reason for chaos and catastrophe. ------------------------- Authors Note: As of June 30th, I am currently still writing the parts that follow Chapter 4 and onwards.
